Par Sauteru: TOTOTOF is one of the most extremal contemporary photographers in the world. He started in the world of music and fashion, portraying firms and celebrities. He worked for about 4 years' between 1991 -1 995) in the former Yugoslavia. Drug - hells and slums were his places of work. His pictures went around the whole world. Several TV- Films and exhibitions in many countries were realized.
His critical and ironical works are meant to rouse emotions and enliven the viewer to interpretation. TOTOTOF says: "I try to stage the soul, character and instinct of people in provocatively controversial pictures, all wars starts in the mind, we are all warriors".
Also as a photo - journalist , TOTOTOF was accredited by United Nations and the Govt. of India. He met Mother Teresa, and also a grandson of Mahatma Gandhi. Earlier TOTOTOF had his own multibusiness and he made a lot of money. From 1982-92, he was personal manager to his ex-wife Eve Gallagher , an English singer who had a No.1 hit in England in 1991. She was counted one of the five best voices in the World (Boy George, Culture Club, was a witness to the marriage of EVE & TOTOTOF.)
In 1996 TOTOTOF changed his way of life. Instead of demanding a materialistic - way he began spiritual - way of reduction and renunciation, "Privilege - Sharing" was born, an idea, independent of any organization or religion. In many countries of Europe, fruitful projects are running. In India, especially in Calcutta, from 1997, "Privilege-Sharing" started with two mobile kitchens for the poorest on the streets, also providing free medicines and a free "English - Teaching School" for homeless children & mothers of the sadder streets. Already hi is receiving a lot of selfless support from European friends and local privileged - people, for example Organizers, Teachers, Doctors, Singers, Actors, Secretaries, helpers so on. Financially - Privileged Swiss friends support his project. TOTOTOF, has a big dream of building an Ashram nearby Calcutta.
To - day, He is living a fulfilled and real life, rich without having phone, TV, Car, Computer and so on, in his photo-basement. He used to try to do everything on providence: more and more reaction than actions. His philosophy is that thinking & planning are not the highest level capable in evolution. Deep love, compassion and humbility to all creatures means peace and happiness to ourselves. Privilege should be a duty, not a reason! If we share our privileges without a tiny of expectation, Providence "(GOD)" will bring the biggest reward, happiness. This love, compassion and humbility leads to happiness, which all human on earth in each deeds & dreams are longing and working for. Happiness is poor naked feelings. If people want to be naked, without any force they have to be discovered of any for so called "protection - walls". Without he least bit of force an orchid may bloom. To understand all people in coherence will release us of any aggression. Love is the biggest servant of understanding. We can't love enemies ....... if we understand them, enemies are no more exist. We all come from the same source — we all are brothers and sisters.
